I bought this for my travels, when I often lack a good weather forecast but must be out and about for hours on end. It is super-lightweight and easily wadded up, yet looks great in use. I deliberately got mine with a loose fit as I wanted to be able to wear it over other jackets, and it works very well this way. The hood gives good protection from the elements. Clothing nowadays is frustrating as the sizes are usually smaller than they were in the past. You buy a large, fits more like a medium. Not the case here, the sizes are right on and just where they should be. A large is a large. It was good fit, warm, comfy material and washes well.
