Top 10 Must Have Accessories

We all dress to feel different, special, unique and to show our personality. One way to really make an outfit of your own is with your choice of accessories. So we are talking about 10 essential accessories that I believe deserve a place in any men’s wardrobe.

  1. Watch

I’ve yet to meet a man who doesn’t look great in a watch. The watch world is vest and filled with many different styles and designs. I think it’s just about finding the right timepiece that fits your aesthetic and naturally complements your style and the thing is watch are also by far the most socially accepted form of jewelry for men.

So if you’re used to dressing a little bit more classic or conservatively, this is definitely the easiest way to step into accessories. The first step in finding the good watch, to see what metal you often wear for other accessories, belt buckles, sunglasses, you do most often wear silver or gold.

  1. Bracelets

Next we have bracelets. Bracelets, less you have more lovely it looks on your cuff or chain worn on the opposite side of your watch. You should prefer metal bracelets they are far less risky than a beaded bracelet. Try all different kind bracelets before buy and match your style with it.

  1. Necklaces

Necklaces with jewelry as a whole building a strong presence in men’s fashion in new trend. Necklaces have arguably been one of the top contenders for men wanting to accessories. When choosing your first necklaces you can’t wrong with simple one or one with pendent on it.

Unless you want to makes statement which is also fine of course but if it’s your first necklaces then you should go with something a little more subdued, easy to wear and versatile.

Ideally choosing a pendent one which symbol on it means something to you. Men end up wearing that one necklace literally all the time, so it’s nice to have some meaning or reason behind it to take.

  1. Rings

Rings are just as much for men as they are for women. There’s nothing wrong spicing up your looks with a little silver or gold on your fingers. Guys can also normalize jewelry for men as a whole, its super normal to see a guy wearing jewelry.

There are lot of different styles and design of rings. Many different pictures preferably shown the person outfits as a whole as well as the rings that way you can kind of get sense of your preference of aesthetic, are you going for rocker look or something classic and formal to complement a more conservative suit and tie outfit or maybe something more edgy almost mafia like.

Whatever you go for I would say the key to a cohesive look is to not go overboard with the jewelry and keep it balanced between the two hands. So if you’re just going for one single ring maybe wear it on the opposite hand with a watch along with a thin bracelet to complement it that way it balances out the larger space that the watch is taking on the opposite wrist. If you are going for 2 or more rings, split them between two hands.

  1. Leather Belts

Belts are definitely a staple accessory for men and when you wear black leather belt, it can be great to emphasize your waistline when tucking in your shirt and to create a contrast when you want to clearly delineate your top and bottom half.

  1. Baseball Caps

My favorite category of hats, baseball Caps. One of the types of hats you can have with your long hairs because you don’t like the look of hats with your hair down and if you tie it into a bun beanie. Baseball caps are more causal sporty and easy to integrate in a wide variety of different styles.

  1. Scarves

I know a lot of you are in summer right now but scarves are such an essential accessory for when the temperature drops down, especially on those very windy days. One of the few items on this list that actually serves a functional purpose on top of being there for the looks for fall and winter go-to is oversized scarf either in a neutral color like black or go for bolder color if you make more of a statement.

  1. Backpack

Backpack are definitely my go-to for carrying around my things because we always have a bunch of stuff on hand these days and everything seems so much bigger than before. So we always like to carry things in some sort of bag.

If you have only phone wallet and keys you can get away with cross body bag but usually you also have headphones, umbrella and if you are working you have laptop and whole bunch of laptop accessory. You can never go wrong with a leather backpack it makes casual bag feel more elevated and more grown up.

  1. Sunglasses

I can’t complete a list of essential accessory without mentioning sunglasses. Sun rays can be damaging to your eyes. We should all be wearing sunglasses probably a lot more offer than we are right now, when it comes to finding the right sunglasses for you, it’s about finding the right shape and the right size for your face. You don’t want something that’s too big or too small otherwise it’s just going to look disproportionate on your face.

  1. Fragrance

And last but not the least we have fragrance, well technically this isn’t accessory you wear, you wear a fragrance it’s not invisible, people can smell you. Good fragrance just a prefect finishing touch for a great outfit and scent is a powerful it can lift your mood, bring back memories, boost your confidence or simple bring a little sense of joy.

Putting little more effort in look because you want to look great for a brunch or dinner or an event, where you can put that little more effort.

Just add a little whiff of fragrance on your wrist and neck right before you go out the door. Different fragrance suits different occasion as well some are more adopted to summer.

These are the 10 items are a great place to start if you’re looking to improve your accessories game.
